Overview:
With the completion of our business-led SAP S/4 Hana transformation first Release, T. Marzetti has graduated to a comprehensive, cloud-based, state-of-the-art integrated ERP solution. The ERP solution will be maintained and improved through the capabilities of a centralized team of professionals within the Information Technology (IT) department; the COE is a core component of this centralized team. Each business process area will have a team of partnered information technology (IT) and business team members from the COE who collaborate to optimize T. Marzettis return on the SAP investment and deliver benefits at scale through enhancements to the processes, data, and technical solution.
The Business Analyst COE Commercial I will support the definition and execution of the enterprise modernization initiatives related to Retail and/or Foodservice functions. The role will support the preparation of business cases and delivery of enhancements or projects that will yield a return on investment that enables T. Marzettis continued growth, competitiveness, and sustainability.
This role will work closely with the other Business Process Owners and Analysts, IT Solution Owners, third-party partners, business stakeholders, and Subject Matter Experts to continue the evolution of our supply chain business capabilities while keeping true to the original principles of a high SAP solution fit to standard.
Responsibilities:
Product Ownership Support the continuous prioritization and refinement of the Retail and/or Foodservice backlog of Business Capability enhancements, projects, and programs. Establish relationships with business stakeholders to fully understand the opportunities and challenges in their respective functions as well as the food manufacturing industry at large. Continuously seek opportunities for advancement and improvement of the data, processes, people and technology especially keeping up to date with the latest evolutions in SAP and Microsoft. Support preparation of Benefits Cases to demonstrate expected return on investment. Effectively communicate issues, decisions reached, and/or the status of Projects with various counterparts on the project team and within the business. Support business process analysis and fit sessions and ensure decisions are adequately documented. Work with IT Solution partners to identify and recommend solutions which are easily configurable and maintain fit-to-standard Define process gaps and manage the resulting business issues that will impact solution delivery. Identify risks and escalate significant decisions that materially change the process from today and/or will result in significant system configuration or any customization. Identify and execute appropriate test cases to ensure enhancements and system changes do not adversely impact the business. Ensure all processes are fit for purpose and comply with legal and statutory requirements, and that processes fully comply with company standards. Organizational Change Management (OCM) Support the OCM team in changes requiring training, communication, and/or coordination when delivered to the business. Provide input and support for training documentation preparation and distribution. Support the Super User Communities of Practice (COP) and activities that require subject matter expertise to support continued change manage into the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in related field 1-3 years of functional knowledge and understanding of Order to Cash, Trade Promotion Management and/or Commercial Processes preferred Process design and change experience in designated areas. SAP S/4 HANA experience or ERP implementation experience a plus, but not a requirement
