RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Empresas Training Specialist will be a creative, hands-on, entrepreneurial collaborator in our Empresas Small Business Development Program. This role will support aspiring and existing Latine small business owners with bilingual, Spanish language training and education on managing, operating, and financing a business. In coordination with the Empresas Program Manager, the Training Specialist will lead all aspects of the Empresas and Food Business Course, Finance Course, monthly specialty workshops, and other educational and networking activities. The ideal candidate will be inspired by and fully committed to Adelante Mujeres' vision and mission in support of community-centered and culturally-responsive services. The Empresas Training Specialist reports to the Empresas Program Manager.
Update, coordinate, and present the introductory courses: Empresas Course, Food Based Business Course, Finance Course and monthly specialty workshops Coordinate and implement outreach activities to recruit, engage, and retain participants. Coordinate training logistics for in person and virtual sessions. Research, design, and implement other educational material. Coordinate training program evaluations and achieve grant deliverables. QUALIFICATIONS:

Two to four years of experience in teaching and facilitating courses and workshops for adult learners;and demonstrated experience working with and motivating Latine families. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and online technology platforms such as MS TEAMS, MS SharePoint, Zoom, Facebook, Canva, and Google Hangouts. Diplomatic communicator, team player, critical thinker, problem solver. Passionate about entrepreneurship, education, social justice, diversity, women's empowerment, and the environment.
