We are seeking a Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This position involves working with customers, handling transactions, and assisting with sales in a retail environment.
## Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers
- Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries about services
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Perform product demonstrations when required
## Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential for customer interaction
- Experience with cash registers
- Strong cash handling skills
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to upsell products and promote sales effectively
- Familiarity with retail math for accurate transactions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.50 - $10.51 per hour
