The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization through a new phase of development and growth, with a focus on increasing the impact of its programs and services. This role requires a leader who can strategically partner with the Board of Directors, serve as the face of the organization, and anticipate and address the challenges and opportunities faced by the community. The CEO will also be tasked with diversifying and expanding the organization's funding base, while ensuring operational excellence and a culture that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Candidates for the CEO position should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience, with a strong background in fundraising, operations, financial management, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful fiscal management, the ability to engage with national and regional staff, and a deep commitment to diversity and inclusion. A strategic and creative visionary, the CEO will be expected to have strong communication skills, the ability to lead and develop a talented team, and a collaborative leadership style. Experience in the Jewish communal space is highly preferred, and a bachelor's degree is required. The role is remote, based in the United States, and may involve moderate to significant travel.
