The CFO will be responsible for leading and directing all finance and accounting activities to enhance financial performance and support the company's strategic objectives. This includes overseeing financial planning and analysis, reporting, tax, treasury, financial risk management, budgeting, and billing and collections. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive leadership and various committees to develop and implement financial plans that facilitate growth and meet targets. A key aspect of the role is to continuously monitor and assess business and financial metrics, as well as to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a CPA and an undergraduate degree in business, finance, or accounting, with an MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. A minimum of 15 years of relevant financial and accounting experience, including at least 5 years at the CFO level, is required, with a strong preference for those with experience in a similar professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of general accounting procedures, experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, and a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong business acumen, strategic orientation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The CFO will also be expected to provide guidance on strategic planning, pricing, and profitability, and to lead the company in continuous improvement and innovation in financial and accounting functions.
