The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, working closely with the President & CEO and COO to manage the company's financial planning, analysis, and management. This role is pivotal in ensuring the company's financial stability, setting and achieving financial goals, and providing strategic financial leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will also oversee relationships with the Board of Directors, lead the annual audit process, and ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have an MBA or MS/MA in a related field, with a CPA qualification and a minimum of 15 years' experience in corporate finance and finance leadership. The role requires expertise in strategic financial planning, global experience, and a proven track record in financial management. Strong leadership, communication, and management skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively and embrace the company's core values. Experience in the education sector and with financial software such as NetSuite and Adaptive planning is beneficial. The CFO will be expected to bring a customer service mentality, a commitment to diversity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
