The CFOO will be a strategic partner, ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the institution. This role involves overseeing financial strategy, daily operations, and long-range planning, as well as managing key relationships with stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial leadership, operations oversight, strategic vision, endowment management, and partnering with the Board of Trustees. The CFOO will also be involved in facilities management, technology integration, and will be expected to participate in professional development related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Candidates for the CFOO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and 10-15 years' senior-level experience in financial planning and management. Experience in an independent school is preferred, but not mandatory. The role requires a proven track record in team management, organizational change, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have superb communication skills, the ability to work with diverse teams, and a strong commitment to equitable and inclusive practices. Responsibilities also include human resource management, and knowledge of business and not-for-profit accounting policies.
