About the Role The Company is in need of a Vice President and Controller to provide strategic vision and leadership to its accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing management and accountability systems to support a high-performing, analytics-driven team. This role requires a proven track record in overseeing a complex enterprise operation and ensuring a seamless succession plan. Key responsibilities include leading the enterprise financial advisory team, establishing a corporate-wide internal control framework for financial reporting, and providing oversight to the enterprise accounting functions to ensure consistency, timeliness, and accuracy in accounting and reporting. The Vice President and Controller will also be tasked with managing financial and tax reporting for the consolidated enterprise, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, and communicating financial results to senior executives and various committees.
Applicants for the Vice President and Controller position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of work experience in health insurance finance leadership, with a background in public accounting. A deep knowledge of financial management systems and experience in implementing integrated technology solutions for enhanced financial management capabilities is essential. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in accounting or a related field, with an advanced degree and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
