About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to join their team. The successful candidate will be the right-hand talent to the executive team, with a focus on managing operations, human resources, budgetary oversight, and strategic initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with industry experts, national labs, and government entities to develop and assess strategies for advancing industry engagement. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, aligning programs with strategic objectives, assisting in budgeting and financial planning, managing HR operations, and serving as a key point of contact for external partners and stakeholders. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in holding a technical understanding of the battery and critical materials space, leading the development of departmental budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred. A background in venture capital, critical minerals, and battery technology sectors, as well as prior experience in a leadership or management role, is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and project management skills, financial and marketing acumen, and an understanding of industrial markets related to batteries or critical minerals. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. The role may also involve travel as needed and requires a proactive approach to managing project risks and ensuring the success of all engagement activities.
