Responsibilities As a Clinical Research Lab Technician, you will be responsible for working with the clinical research team including Coordinators, Assistants, Sub-Is, and PIs, on understanding research protocols, performing specimen collection and processing, and ensuring the research lab is prepared.
Read, understand, and follow instruction manuals and sponsor protocolsObtain, process, and ship laboratory specimens using good laboratory technique and following OSHA and IATA regulationsMaintain confidentiality of patient and protocol issuesPromptly report any adverse events or laboratory incidents to management that occur with patients when obtaining or processing lab specimensAlways ensure availability of appropriate amounts of laboratory suppliesEscalate appropriate questions and problems to leadership, be a strong team player! Qualifications: 1+ year of experience working in a Lab Setting1+ year of experience performing blood draws/phlebotomy Great if you have it: Experience in a clinical research lab or hospital lab Job Type: Full-time
