Job Title: CNC Programmer Job Description
This position is responsible for generating programs for various automated machining centers including sheet metal punching, laser cutting, and bending. The machine programmer will work closely with machine operators, production supervisors, manufacturing, and design teams to improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.
Hard Skills Program various automated CNC machines such as sheet metal punches, lasers, press brakes, tube lasers, etc. Improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste. Determine tooling requirements and maintain tooling database Prepare material requisitions Troubleshoot programming and DXF file errors Prepare documentation to support production Job Type
