Job Description
To provide everything that is needed to ensure the highest quality of customer service and coffee shop guest experience to the Students, Faculty and Staff Hennepin Technical College. Hours will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Minimum Qualifications Six (6) months Food preparation and Customer Service/Cashiering experience. Six (6) months previous coffee shop experience. Experience in upselling in a fast paced, food service environment. Ability to collect payments, count money, and complete transactions for customers. Ability to collect, transport, unload, and sort items weighing up to 50 lbs and be able to bend, stoop and work in a standing position for extended periods of time. Fluently communicate, read understand and respond to a variety of communications, such as customer questions, product catalogs, requisitions, purchase orders, detailed instructions and procedures, inventory records and distribution lists. Preferred Qualification One (1) years' food preparation and customer service/cashiering experience. One (1) years' previous coffee shop experience. Experience closing cash drawers and creating deposits. Experience creating, recommending and maintaining procedures and standards for a coffee shop. Knowledge of food safety sanitation standards. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
