Commercial Litigation Paralegal

We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm looking to add a paralegal to assist and support our Commercial Litigation Department. The ideal candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Gathering, organizing, summarizing, and indexing documents/ chronologies for cases that are fact/ document heavy. Drafting correspondence, routine pleadings & motions, disclosure requests, and responses according to judicial procedures and other related documents. Preparing and maintaining documents and bundles to be used at headings and proceedings (hard copies and pdfs) Liaise directly with clients and third parties, especially in regard to document collection and management File management update shared drives and hard copy folders with key documents. Scheduling depositions. Taking phone calls/ accurate messages for multiple attorneys as well as handling calendars. Paralegal Requirements Experience with drafting legal documents, such as discovery demands, PC requests, RJIs, motions, stipulations, subpoenas, notices, and post-judgment papers. Experience formatting briefs and preparing exhibit books. OCR documents. Experience with filing court documents, including e-filing in both state and federal courts (NYSCEF and ECF) Experience tracking court dates and deadlines. Must be extremely organized and able to maintain a high case volume. Must be familiar with MS Office skills (including Excel and outlook), Adobe, West Law, and Pro Law and Timekeeping applications. Excellent communication skills and a polished presentation are also needed. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes At least 5+ years of experience. Paralegal certificate not required but preferred. Excellent client services and problem-solving skills; litigation experience a plus. Proactive and anticipatory. Solid knowledge of computers and software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Ability to think clearly and work well under pressure in a busy environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of staff within the office.
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Salary: $55k-$75k
