Our client is on an urgent mission: engineer precision genetic medicine for rare diseases that devastate lives and cut futures short. They are looking for a **Contract Logistics Coordinator** to join their growing team to receive shipments and facilitate outgoing shipment of packages in Columbus, Ohio.
**Location:** Columbus, OH
**Shift:** M-F 8-5
**Pay:** $24-$26
**Job Description:**
+ Ensure package contents are correct and investigates problems and resolves discrepancies
+ Inspect shipments and record/report damage
+ Coordinate the delivery of all incoming items to their final location
+ Timely completion and filing of paperwork using Good Documentation Practices
+ Chemical and Reagent management including receipt, inventory, shipments and tracking
+ Package and schedule outgoing shipment with freight companies
+ Supports lab moving and re-organization
+ Creates and contributes to the editing of operational SOPs
+ Identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency
+ Establish and maintain safe and efficient work areas in adherence with all regulations
+ Performs related job duties as required
**Desired Education and Skills:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
