HYBRID in the Woodlands, TX - local candidates only Job Summary: Seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support the schedule and cost control efforts for projects in West Texas. Experience in oil and gas, or relevant construction capital projects is required.
***looking for strong experience with cost controls and scheduling, O&G experience highly preferred (specifically Midstream). Qualifications: Five (5) or more years of relevant work experience with upstream or midstream capital projects; other industrial construction acceptable.
Proficient with project management software applications, Ares Prism and SAP preferred but not required, Primavera P6 required.
Capable of self-performing all of the project controls required to support all phases of the project life cycle, while also providing reporting and analysis to drive decision making.
Able to be self-sufficient and manage your time to meet project and company deadlines.
Experience with the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective cost control and scheduling programs.
A fundamental knowledge of production, compression, pumping, treating, processing, and produced water disposal facilities and pipeline infrastructure is preferred.
Understanding of industry safety principles and their application at a construction location.
Ability to prepare work breakdown and cost breakdown structures based on project scope, in conjunction with the Project Manager.
Competency in earned value management.
Ability to communicate analysis findings and required recovery plan activities to management through concise written reports and clear verbal/visual presentations.
Education: Bachelors degree required.
Work Schedule: Onsite Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (THE WOODLANDS, TX), remote Wed/Friday. Must have the ability to work from home while accessing corporate IT systems remotely. Travel Requirements: Travel will be required up to 25%. Most travel will be to field locations in the Permian Basin in West Texas.
