Critical Pacu Registered Nurse - Sign On Bonus Available

JOB SUMMARY A critical PACU Registered Nurse is needed to provide independent nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care and policy and procedure. This role involves identifying and documenting medical and nursing patient care information in the electronic or paper medical record and performing thorough admission assessments within the unit policy time frame. The successful candidate will also utilize problem-solving and critical thinking skills to deliver patient care and treatment and administer medication safely and accurately while utilizing available resources when questions arise. Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with basic computer proficiency are required to fulfill this role.
QUALIFICATIONS Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensed in the State of Florida. 1-2 years of critical care RN experience in PACU. Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association for North Naples Campus and must be acquired within first 90 days.
