This role supports the VP, Culture Marketing in the development, management, and execution of Red Bull's national Culture Marketing event approach. The Director, Events & Field Execution will continuously drive clear alignment between the Santa Monica (SaMo) Headquarters and all regional Culture Marketing teams in the US to ensure execution of events and projects remains innovative, inspiring, and held to a premium standard across all Culture Playgrounds.
Job Description NATIONAL TIER 1 CULTURE EVENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Production Lead for all Tier 1 events each calendar year.
Responsible for management and oversight of all Tier 1 project production budgets.
Responsible for designing and generating revenue generation approach for all Tier 1 Projects.
Design and facilitate the RFP process with Red Bull Purchasing team for all external vendors and partners.
Hire, contract, onboard, manage, and pay all related external partners and vendors.
Manage feasibility process for all potential venues, navigate contracting process with Legal and 3rd party vendors.
Manage and conduct After Action Reviews for each project.
Manage an annualized vendor audit process to ensure fair market value and vendor capabilities.
FIELD STANDARDS AND PRACTICES
Standardize department approach for coaching all Region teams in all executional topics, including:
Event Production 101 Onboarding Process
Project / Campaign management
Feasibility / RFP processes
Budget forecasting and fiscal management
Ticket Campaign Strategies
KPI Setting / Reporting / Tracking / Recapping / Culture Net Maintenance
Processes, Tools, & Templates
Manage all national standards and practices around compliance with our Global Sustainability mandates.
You will be the first point of contact for identified departmental execution issues to drive remediation efforts.
Provide recommendations and guidance for regional Culture Marketing budgets and tactical investments.
Optimize collaboration between SaMo and the regional Culture Marketing teams.
Partner with the VP, Culture Marketing in the development of national/regional strategic partnerships that improve the consumer experience and event credibility.
LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DESIGN
Mentor and guide regional Culture Marketing leads on performance management and KPI development.
Support consistency and development of the department culture.
Develop a future department structure recommendation, built to support our needs to ensure premium execution across our existing and future playground campaigns and projects.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required.
8+ years' experience within playground-relevant (Music/Dance) Event & Production Management.
Experience leading production for large capacity / large budget events, ideally within Arena & Festival environments.
Experienced marketing operator with demonstrated success in prior roles.
Experience building and leading revenue-generating schemes involving ticketing, merchandising, and partnerships.
Experience, directly and indirectly, managing individuals and teams.
Build relationships, work cross-functionally, and foster teamwork.
Experience working within a professional work environment of national, if not global, scope.
Strong planning and project management competencies, including budget management skills.
In-depth knowledge of youth and professional sports and event management.
Excellent strategic thinking skills.
Highly motivated self-starter with high standards of work performance.
Fluency in English; additional language skills (particularly Spanish) an advantage.
Additional Information The base salary range for this position is $136,895 to $151,305 + cash incentives. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
