Location: Boston, Massachusetts Type: Direct Hire Job #19647 Our client, a consulting firm who helps organizations build, develop, and reward great leadership teams that drive long-term success, is seeking to add a Director of Information Technology to their growing leadership team. This Dire Hire role will lead IT and cybersecurity, foster continuous improvement and professional growth. In addition, you will oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely and cost effective delivery while streamlining workflows and maintaining SOC 2 compliance.
Qualifications IT- or Computer-related degree; MBA preferred. 15+ years' experience in an IT field; 7+ years' people management experience. Proven track record of: Aligning IT with business objectives and delivering results. Developing systematic approaches to ensure consistent and enduring operational efficiency. Fostering innovation through calculated risk-taking and empowering team to pursue creative solutions. Applying broad business and technology understanding to successfully implement IT plans. Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem including Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Power Platform and Copilot. Expertise in information security and data protection. Key Responsibilities Lead IT functional area to successfully identify, develop/implement, maintain and support business-enabling technology; Includes oversight of all hardware, software, business systems, cloud services, IT helpdesk support, and partners/vendors. Engage in operational planning with business and IT stakeholders to provide direction, guidance, and recommendations on technology, infrastructure, and cybersecurity innovations. Partner with executive management and IT team members to define the annual project portfolio roadmap and engage with business leaders to ensure the portfolio will deliver on business objectives. Enforce cybersecurity protocols to safeguard organizational assets and client data and ensure SOC 2 compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on technology solutions with an emphasis on optimized, timely, and successful delivery.
