The Position:

This role is a forward facing position with daily interaction and discussion with Ditmas administrator, nursing director, social worker, nurse practitioners, parents, and rehab staff. This person should be: An effective and empathetic communicator Be able to prioritize responsibilities A multitasker Comfortable determining which cases are appropriate for admission Comfortable with delegation and organization of tasks Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage payroll for department employees Hiring appropriate staff Managing department budget Locate and communicate with DME vendors Overseeing admissions Administrative communication Communicate effectively with families and caregivers Standardize communication between staff Orientation for staff/establishing standards Annual performance reviews
