Job Description
Epsilon is seeking a Director, Program Delivery with a proven record of accomplishment in leading, delivering, and managing compelling customer solutions in support of overall business growth and revenue targets. Candidates should have a strong experience in managing complex application development projects involving database and digital technologies with external clients. Candidates should have led multiple projects through scope/discovery, estimation, development, implementation, post deployment support with ability to influence solution design for the clients.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SDLC; especially the management of multiple and simultaneous development projects. Candidates should be able to establish and cultivate a culture of test and learn, continually identifying new ideas with an eye on improving the customer experience and business success metrics. They should have working experience leveraging marketing applications, with a natural curiosity to want to understand how things work.
Key abilities: Experience working in a matrix organization; coaching and mentoring individuals is requiredResearch and propose cost effective solutions to address business challengesProvide technical and solution delivery leadership in the organizationProven ability to work in and lead teams by example, empowering and guiding as neededCollaborate with client engagement on technical capabilities, staffing and solution requirementsUse and improve standard delivery methodology for delivering program goals (e.g. agile, waterfall, iterative) while effectively using version control tools, Defect management tools, knowledge repository & team collaboration toolsEnforce delivery excellence and compliance. Managing the quality and timeliness of status reporting and associated project deliverablesContribute to design and continuous improvement of our productized marketing platforms/solutionsAbility to resolve cross product, vendors dependencies, risks and issuesDevelop and influence the culture of continuous improvement of delivery methodologiesSupport Pre-Sales effort and participate in RFPs, providing solution estimatesEstablish and provide clear communication to executive leadershipWhat you will need BS in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience is requiredStrong knowledge of marketing concepts and associated applications is required15+ years of industry experience of which 7 years of delivery leadership of complex projects is requiredProduct software implementation from requirements through design, development, user acceptance, and post deployment is a strong plusExperience in Agile Program management is a strong plus3+ years of digital experience working with web, mobile/social channels are a strong plusMust have proven experience in leading large system integration efforts through completionStrong client interfacing background requiredAbility to estimate .NET or Java development work, if required, also validate outputs from the development teamExperience in managing global delivery team requiredMust have strong project management, technical and organizational skillsMust have the ability to multi task and project manage in a fast paced demanding environmentAbility to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAdditional Information About Epsilon
