Engagement Manager - Northern CaliforniaThe Center for Caregiver Advancement (CCA) is building the workforce of highly trained caregivers that many Californians can't live without.For over two decades, CCA has been at the forefront of an equity-driven movement for quality training and quality jobs. CCA is one of the largest providers of training for long-term caregivers in California– training over 35,000 home care and nursing home caregivers in the past 20 years. We are pioneers in home care training and are the only organization in the country to show the value of evidence-informed training programs on both the workforce population and the low-income seniors and people with disabilities for whom they care, with curriculum licensed in four other states.Position Overview:The Engagement Manager reports to the Director of Engagement and plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and successful stakeholder experience with CCA. This includes students, employers, Labor and Management partners, and more. This leadership position oversees a team of Engagement Coordinators guaranteeing efficient execution, delivery of programs and the skillful management of key partner relationships.Key Responsibilities:Lead and Develop Your Team: Supervise a team of Engagement Coordinators in their assigned region/route, fostering their training, performance, and professional growth.Drive Student Success: Monitor recruitment and enrollment activities, case management, wrap-around support services, program completion rates, retention, and graduation to meet established objectives.Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with program partners like union staff, employers, education providers, and vendors.Expand CCA's Reach: Increase CCA and Education Fund presence with Local Workforce Development Boards.Optimize Program Delivery: Collaborate with Directors to identify potential vendor partners and support the contracting process.Boost Enrollment: Participate in communication strategies to promote programs and services by attending events and meetings.Ensure Smooth Operations: Develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) reflecting current processes.Manage Virtual Classrooms: Lead the generation and sharing of Zoom links with instructors.Maintain Data Integrity: Oversee audits of Genius and Blackboard Learn systems.Identify Challenges and Gaps: Provide strategic solutions, progressive guidance, and direction on recruitment strategies.Management: Oversight of student auditing process via Learning Management System (LMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).Incident Reporting: Report and escalate any incidents to the appropriate supervisor.Data Analysis: Well-versed in data analysis and reporting.Diplomacy and Urgency: Effectively manage various stakeholders and situations.Performs all other duties as assigned.Experience and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.Languages: Bilingualism is preferred, but not required.Knowledge and Experience: Understanding of labor management partnerships, labor unions, workforce development, home care, IHSS and/or the skilled nursing certification process.3-5 years of demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.3-5 years of experience in workforce development, community or union organizing, recruitment, or sales.Proven ability to work independently and manage a team effectively.Highly organized, systemic thinker with strong time management skills.Ability and experience working with culturally diverse populations.2-3 years of a public facing role.Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Google Workforce, Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, Salesforce CRM, and Blackboard or another LMS software.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Work Preferences: Prior experience in workforce development, a labor management training partnership, labor union, long-term care and/or healthcare environment is a plus.Transportation: Possession of a valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.Generous Benefits: Excellent benefits including 100% employer-paid medical, dental & vision for team members and eligible dependents, defined benefit pension plan with vesting at 3 years, and 401K plan.Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 annualEmployment Status: Full Time ExemptWork Location: Hybrid Role within Northern CaliforniaTravel is required to support and oversee the Engagement Coordinators on their assigned routes and to attend events.Diversity is at the core of the Center for Caregiver Advancement.
