Overview:
About the Role Join our dynamic team, where you will collaborate closely with executives, customers, and subject matter experts to develop presentations for conferences and events, ensuring messages are understandable, engaging, and aligned with overarching marketing strategies. You'll conduct thorough research to gather data, information and stories, coach presenters, and seek feedback to continually refine and enhance presentation techniques, ultimately advancing best practices and delivering impactful presentations at external conferences and events. The ideal candidate will have 8 years' experience in Brand, Corporate Marketing, or Communications. You will be successful if you excel in crafting engaging presentations for diverse audiences and possess a deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics. You quickly grasp new healthcare topics and translate them into compelling narratives. Strong communication, storytelling, and confidentiality management skills are essential. What You'll Accomplish Interface with senior executives, clients and partners to develop effective event presentations with strong consistent messaging addressing mixed external audiences with a variety of interestsDrive presentation development, working closely with speakers and others to create slides and script ensuring they are at the right altitude, bring life to underlying narratives, are engaging, and refer back to other marketing/event touch points.Develop recommendations and then align with Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical and Communications on key messages and themes for presentations and speaking at external conferences and marketing eventsResearch and gather internal and external data, information, stories and input to support development of presentation narratives, visuals, and messagesPrepare and submit speaking proposals and other required pre-event materials after researching conferences, audiences, and annual themesStay up to date on new healthcare information based on the lay press and medical literature, and translate into compelling narratives.Coach presenters and speakers to help craft their talks and presentations based on specific event goals/messagesSuccessfully manage a portfolio of simultaneous projects with different due dates and timelinesCollect feedback and seek great external presentations to inspire continuous improvement and advance best practicesHinge Health Hybrid Model We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days/week.
Qualificatons:
Basic Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Communications with 8 years of relevant Brand, Corporate Marketing or Communications experience. At least 5 years in the healthcare industry Deep experience working with business, technical, and clinical senior executives and subject matter experts in developing key messages and presentations for marketing events and speaking engagementsDemonstrated strong experience writing and editing an array of informative and engaging presentations, including executive roundtables, keynotes, webinars, and conference breakout sessionsExisting command of healthcare industry topics and dynamics that impact patients, providers, health plans, employers, and technology providers.Ability to search and understand the medical literature to provide strong evidence to support presentation messages.Comfortable moving between ground level and the 50,000 ft view, ingesting a large amount of siloed information and translating it into a digestible, compelling presentation or eventA creative communicator who likes bringing new ideas and pushing for differentiation but is also practical, gets their hands dirty, executes, and consistently meets deadlines Highly accountable project management and communication skillsHigh levels of proficiency in MS Word/Google Docs and PowerPoint/Google SlidesA natural storyteller with excellent writing skillsPreferred Qualifications Experience growing annual customer events from hundreds to thousands of attendeesDemonstrable success securing speaking invitations to thought leadership events (e.g. TED talks)Understanding of the musculoskeletal and pain management healthcare industry and related medical topics. Compensation This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $126,400 - $189,598.
