Provide executive administration support for the business unit President as well as operational support for the business team activities. Primary objective is to ensure a well-organized business environment for the complex activities of the division.
**What you will do**
* Provide daily organizational and operational support for President and Sr. Vice President of National Sales.
* Create executive level presentations (PowerPoint) appropriate for leadership and/or external customers
* Basic project management developing timelines, tracking metrics, holding others accountable to deadlines, communicate status updates, prepare executive summaries
* Plan and organize meetings and conferences
* Create basic sales reporting using available tools (i.e. Excel or PowerBI)
* Assist with financial and data reporting activities including reconciling all business spending, tracking and reconciliation of all indirect spend, etc.
* Perform light clerical work, including booking travel, maintaining calendars, expense reporting, business communications, etc.
**What you need to succeed**
* Minimum college degree
* Minimal 3 years of experience in an administrative assistant role
* Excellent written communication and email skills
* Experience supporting executive leadership in a fast paced dynamic environment
* High attention to detail and strong organization skills
* Can work independently with minimal direction
* Multitasking and flexibility to change priorities depending on business requirements
* Confidence and social skills to be able to work with diverse groups within the business and develop network with the business partners internally and externally.
* Experience working with customers and vendors
* Financial background or strong interest and ability to work with quantitative and accounting projects
* Expert proficiency with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word. Proficiency with Excel
* Basic project management skills building timelines, tracking milestones, holding others accountable to deadlines, communication
* Able to plan and organize meetings and conferences
* Position is based out of Oak Brook, IL
