The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the organization's mission, goals, and objectives, with a specific focus on the national center. This includes developing and executing the center's mission and growth initiatives, coordinating national service delivery, and ensuring performance measurement of service outcomes. The role also involves overseeing state contracts, writing and executing grants, and maintaining clear communication within the organization. The Executive Director will be accountable for the cost-effective use of resources, managing program and project budgets, and will have supervisory responsibilities, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management.

Applicants must have at least fifteen years of experience in a similar organization or associated human services industry, and a Master's degree is required. The ideal candidate will be an effective leader with a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values, and a high level of accountability. They should be able to work collaboratively, demonstrate an understanding of cultural and individual diversity, and be passionate about diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Proficiency in American Sign Language is essential, as is experience in managing performance and a proven track record of building and supporting high-performing teams. The Executive Director will be expected to provide a clear vision, manage expectations, and effectively lead through change.
