This pivotal role is at the forefront of the finance organization, serving as a key governance resource and leading the global consolidation process for financial reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing both internal and external financial statements, as well as overseeing the drafting, review, and filing of all SEC reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Building and maintaining relationships across various functions is essential, as is ensuring SOX compliance and a strong internal control environment. The role also involves supporting ESG reporting and coordinating with teams to ensure collaborative work, and playing an active leadership role in key cross-functional committees.
Candidates for this position at The Company should be experienced finance executives with a background in finance, accounting, and/or internal control, and possess governance skills with executive communication capabilities. A CPA license is preferred. The Executive Director will be expected to have a Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with a significant amount of experience in the field, including managerial experience. The role requires a leader who can develop, coach, and mentor their team, and who is adept at working with global business and process owners to support the design and implementation of effective controls. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, strategic thinker, and will be able to lead and forge partnerships that advance the financial and governance aspects of the organization.
