The role demands a strong focus on national stakeholder engagement, including ACIP and medical societies, to inform recommendations and guidelines. The Executive Director will also be at the forefront of digital and scientific communication, championing a digital-first mindset and ensuring the team is adept at simplifying complex scientific topics for diverse audiences.
Applicants must have a medical degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in medical affairs or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership in field medical teams. Experience with regulatory or health agencies such as the CDC, FDA, or equivalent is essential, demonstrating a deep understanding of public health policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires a leader with a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to innovation, particularly in the use of digital tools for scientific engagement.
