The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating the value propositions of the company's advanced data analytics software platform, DeepSport Solutions, and for driving business growth through the sale of both transactional and recurring licensed software solutions. This role requires a dynamic, team-oriented individual with a player-coach mentality, who can ensure the performance and strategy of the sales department align with the company's goals. The EVP/SVP will be expected to develop and execute sales strategies, manage the sales team, and maintain a strong presence in the marketplace to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in diverse leadership roles, with a proven track record of sales growth, particularly in the sports sponsorship sector. A large network of contacts in the sports industry and a history of closed deals in this sector is essential. The role demands a leader with an inspirational and hands-on approach, strong technical experience with business productivity tools, and the ability to craft and execute business strategies effectively. The EVP/SVP will also be responsible for budget management, sales reporting, and ensuring a positive customer experience while constantly identifying upsell opportunities. A Master's degree in business administration or a related field is required, and the candidate should be comfortable in a startup environment and understand the company's current stage.
