Job Summary:
The F&I Manager is responsible for the management and administration of vehicle finance transactions as well as insurance products. Their primary goal is to maximize sales profitability through financing and complementary products while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
Processes financing for vehicle purchases for customers.
Prepares and submits credit applications to financial institutions.
Evaluates and negotiates financing terms with banks and other lending institutions.
Offers additional products such as insurance, extended warranties, and service contracts.
Explains the benefits and features of vehicle insurance and service products.
Maximizes profitability by selling appropriate additional products.
Ensures all financing documentation complies with local and federal regulations.
Stays up to date on legal requirements regarding vehicle loans and insurance.
Ensure confidentiality of customer personal and financial information.
Provide a positive customer experience by advising on financing and insurance options.
Respond to customer questions and concerns regarding financial terms.
Work closely with the sales team to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Prepare and verify all necessary documentation for vehicle sale and financing.
Ensure sales contracts and financing documents are complete and accurate.
Requirements:
BBA or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field (preferred).
Previous experience in financing and insurance sales, preferably in the automotive sector.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Solid knowledge of financial and insurance products.
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales goals.
Detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in documentation.
