Responsibilities
EPA and/or CFC certification required Perform housekeeping, drywall repairs, painting, and maintenance in equipment rooms and other areas. Address electrical circuit breaker issues, and perform repairs or adjustments to doors, including closers, hinges, latches, locks, and exit signs. Conduct dock door and leveler checks, making adjustments or initiating service requests as needed. Install wall-mounted devices in bathrooms, offices, and hallways as requested. Collaborate with a Facilities Engineer or attend training to gain qualification in building maintenance for facilities systems. Review, update, and utilize procedures, checklists, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks for system operations. Perform inspections for mechanical integrity and conduct monthly Behavioral Observation Safety (BOS) checks. Participate in incident and accident investigations, as well as the TPM Seven Step Process to identify root causes. Provide coverage for other technician positions during absences and train entry-level candidates and summer helpers. Perform non-routine tasks to support business needs, order correct parts, and recommend spares to prevent downtime. Guide contractors to work areas for warranty, contracted services, or emergency response tasks. Assist the Utilities System Manager with additional duties as required.
