?Volt has an immediate opening for Forge Die Maintenance Operator!!Exceed your potential with VoltAs a Forge Die Maintenance Operator you will:Die Polishing and Grinding: Possess thorough knowledge of die polishing and grinding techniques.Inspection: Perform liquid penetrant inspection of dies to determine wear, cracks, and other defects. Document die condition and report to Engineering.Defect Identification: Identify defects and die wear; mark dies with job number and function.Tool Selection: Select abrasive tools according to operation and specified dimensions.Grinding and Smoothing: Manipulate powered hand grinder to remove bead, grind curved surfaces to specified radii, remove machining marks, and smooth die surfaces. Sand surfaces of cavity and gutters to facilitate metal flow during forging.
