#About the position
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated
Admissions Manager
to join our team. The Admissions Manager will play a critical role in the student enrollment process by interviewing potential new students, evaluating their qualifications, and guiding them through the application process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the tech industry, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals.
#Key Responsibilities:
Student Interviews:
Conduct in-depth interviews with prospective students to assess their qualifications, motivations, and suitability for the bootcamp programs.
Evaluate candidates' technical backgrounds, problem-solving skills, and readiness for the intensive learning environment.
Provide detailed information about the bootcamp programs, curriculum, and expectations.
Admissions Process Management:
Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including application review, interview scheduling, and decision-making.
Collaborate with the Ironhack team to ensure a smooth and efficient application process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applicant interactions and decisions in the admissions database.
Guidance and Support:
Offer personalized guidance to applicants throughout the admissions process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Assist prospective students in understanding the benefits of the bootcamp and how it aligns with their career goals.
Provide feedback to candidates on their interview performance and potential areas for improvement.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing and outreach teams to attract and recruit a diverse pool of applicants.
Collaborate with the program team to understand the specific needs of each cohort and ensure that admitted students are well-prepared for the program.
Continuous Improvement:
Monitor and analyze admissions data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the admissions process.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the quality and diversity of the applicant pool.
Animate some events and info-sessions to attract more students.
#Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education, business, communication, or a related field
2+ years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related role, preferably in the tech or education industry
Strong understanding of the tech industry and the skills required for success in tech careers
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse individuals and build relationships
Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience with CRM systems and admissions databases is a plus
Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
