Job Profile Summary
This position is responsible for managing and streamlining the development, execution, compliance, renewals, and administration including invoicing approvals of contracts within the Project Controls Department. This role is also responsible for ensuring contracts are in accordance with budget, on time, and consistent with the company's practices.
Job Description
Manage and administer contracts in the Contract Administration department.
Develop and execute contracts effectively.
Manage change orders without delay, keep track of contract deadlines, and take action to achieve compliance with procurement and contract terms.
Administer contracts to confirm that invoices are aligned with the work completed in the field, ensure documentation is complete and correct for payment, and verify that payments have been met according to the terms and conditions described in the contract.
Prepare or review contract management reports and corresponding documentation for completeness and to ensure they meet internal criteria.
Work closely with Contract Owner, Contract Administrator, and other contract stakeholders to ensure processes, documentation, and approvals (Adobe and Asset Suite) are effective.
Work closely with the Procurement department to ensure documentation is prepared and managed properly.
Work with Accounts Payable, if necessary, to ensure invoices are fit for processing.
As assigned, perform restoration work, and participate in associated drills in the event of a major storm or emergency.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description
Education
Bachelor's degree of Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain, or related field from an accredited university.
2 years of experience in contract negotiation/administration, monitoring and enforcing contract compliance (preferably in a utility or EPC environment), finance, law, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of applicable municipal, state, and federal laws and regulatory requirements such as those from the PREB of
F.O.M.B and/or knowledge and understanding of U.S. contract laws, the concepts of contract composition and contract claims a plus.
Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Assertive personality; ability to interact with demanding contractors.
Experience working in regulated utilities and managing interface with regulatory commissions and independent system operators, as well as interface between international aid agencies and large-scale public services preferred.
Experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong analytical focus.
Expertise identifying and managing project risks.
Experience managing teams, knowledge of operational budgets, resource planning, hiring, and preparation of goals and objectives.
Experience with FEMA a plus.
Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
Ability to articulate solutions related to department processes and collaborate on work products to drive process improvements.
Assertive and ability to deal with difficult and demanding customers.
