The HBO will be a key strategic partner and advisor to the Chief Operating Officer, playing a critical role in the daily management of all aspects of the office. This includes business management across the division globally, providing management support, and being the central point of coordination for business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging all business management functions for daily execution and delivery, as well as serving as the conduit for key business and company information flow. The role encompasses strategic, operational, project, and administrative responsibilities, and will eventually involve team management. The HBO will also be involved in strategic initiatives, annual budget and strategic plan, and will be expected to ensure effective communication and employee engagement.
Candidates for the HBO position should have a minimum of 10 years' executive management experience, with a strong background in business operations, technology, vendor management, business risk and oversight, transformation, data governance, and management. The role requires a results-oriented individual with excellent strategic, financial, and commercial skills, as well as strong organizational, political, and negotiation agility. A high level of business acumen, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and advanced communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a combination of focus and adaptability, be highly resourceful, self-motivated, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders. An undergraduate degree is required, with a preference for an advanced master's degree or professional certification such as an MBA or CFA.
