About the Role The Company is in search of a Head of Revenue Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the revenue accounting, billing, and accounts receivable/collection teams. This role requires the development and implementation of scalable processes for revenue recognition and order-to-cash, as well as serving as the accounting lead on the deal desk, in partnership with legal, sales, and strategic finance. The Head of Revenue Accounting will also be tasked with establishing revenue recognition policies for new business models and products, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, and other regulatory requirements. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Applicants for the Head of Revenue Accounting position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of accounting experience, with a background that includes public company and Big 4 experience. A CPA with a strong knowledge of ASC 606, particularly in the SaaS/software industry, is required. The role demands a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, and experience with accounting systems, Salesforce, and Workday Financial is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing month-end and quarter-end close processes for revenue-related matters and will be instrumental in driving automation initiatives within the revenue accounting function.
