Job DetailsJob LocationYouthSource Center San Fernando - San Fernando, CAPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$20.50 - $32.03 HourlyDescriptionPOSITION: Intake SpecialistRESPONSIBILITIES: The Intake Specialist reports directly to the Program Manager. The Intake Specialist is responsible in the development and attainment of outreach and Intake Specialist goals for Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Programs and also for Summer Youth Programs. Conducts extensive outreach functions and generates new customers to the Youth Center. Assist customer at the time of Orientation and registration by providing program Eligibility and guidelines. Conduct extensive assessment according to program rules and objectives. Establish Management Information System (MIS) customer data bank; maintain all the eligibility documents and other information that is required to meet the program requirement. Coordinate and participate recruitment events. The Intake Specialist is responsible for ensuring Customer Satisfaction is promoted throughout with the time of registration, orientation, assessment, and follow-up.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS: Worked directly with customers, community outreach and business sectors. Possess a professional customer service attitude and strong communication skills. Second language a plus.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Drivers License. Must submit to and pass a criminal background check and drug test as a pre-condition to employment. Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination and booster. QUALIFICATIONS: BA and (1) one year professional experience or a combination of education plus (3) three years professional experience in assessment, outreach, recruitment, MIS, career counseling, placement and related areas.
