About the Role The Company is seeking an Interim Tax Director to join their dynamic, fast-paced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns, as well as the month-end close process. This role involves serving as the primary contact for third-party tax advisors, staying updated on new tax regulations, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of tax reports and payments. The Interim Tax Director will also be involved in managing the company's tax planning activities, maintaining compliance with local and state laws, and communicating effectively with management on all tax-related matters.

Applicants for the Interim Tax Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a preference for those who have a background in public accounting, particularly from a Big 4 firm. A minimum of 7 years' of experience is required, along with a strong understanding of partnership and multi-state corporate income taxation. The role demands a proactive individual who can design and implement controls to ensure the accuracy of the company's tax liabilities and financial statements. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional, excited to take on the role of a resident tax expert, and capable of working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
