Our organization is currently hiring an Inventory Clerk to work in our warehouse. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the inventory control system, maintain product data, rectify miscalculations, review and analyze the results of operations, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary. **Job Duties**
Review and apply inventory activities, including movements and deletions
Maintain and update inventory records
Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures
Reconcile inventory discrepancies
Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary
Prepare a list of depleted products and a survey of unusable products
Conduct Cycle Count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
Schedule categories for Cycle Count inventory and maintain strict records
Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures
Maintain adequate storage for warehouse and on-site inventory
Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a quarterly basis
Create an efficient space utilization plan
Notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
Check bulk orders for accuracy and quality prior to shipment

**Knowledge and Skills**
Clerical Skills: Inventory Associate need to know how to type, file and keep accurate records.
Communication Skills: Inventory associate communicate with co-workers, the home office, and others to make sure that accurate records are being made of inventory
Attention to Detail: Accuracy counts. Inventory associate need to make sure not to miss any details when counting orders and taking stock
Math Skills: Inventory associate will be using math to add inventory
High school diploma/GED required
2+ years experience in inventory control
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Exemplary mathematical and analytical skills
Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
Able to lift 50 pounds without restriction
