My client is looking for a Learning and Development Manager to design and lead training programs for their rapidly growing firm. In this role, you will develop, facilitate, and evaluate training sessions to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance with required procedures. You will collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, design leadership programs, and support managers with employee development plans. This role requires travel between Midwest locations.
THE ROLE: Evaluate employee training and program needs to design effective training sessions for improvement.Develop and implement training programs tailored to organizational goals.Plan and lead quarterly leadership training sessions.Collaborate with managers to create development and improvement plans for employees.Update existing training materials and create new content for functional areas, including preparing course outlines, designing instructional methods, and delivering classroom instruction using visual aids and exercises.Schedule training sessions and manage enrollment processes.Facilitate mandatory annual training for employees.Organize training venues, secure necessary equipment and supplies, and evaluate the impact of training programs.Assist managers in establishing onboarding programs for new hires.Assess staff training needs in partnership with managers and supervisors, and develop educational materials accordingly.Create and administer competency assessments to evaluate training effectiveness.Generate training reports, including tracking and compiling competency scores.YOU: Previous experience in sales is highly preferred.5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering training sessions, with strong project management skills.Coaching certification is a plus.Solid understanding of employee training principles, including needs assessment and development.Proficiency in instructional techniques and methods for preparing and conducting effective training sessions.Ability to create impactful training programs for diverse audiences.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, managers, and external stakeholders.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
