Manager, Product Development(Beauty Industry) As a Manager of Product Development, you will assist in the development of Tatcha formulas, helping to bring innovative, efficacious, and quality products to market. Each day at Tatcha is different with new problems to solve and tasks to tackle, but here is an idea of some of the things you will work on:
Investigate unique break through textures, discover and research new ingredients, and establish competitive benchmarks Contribute to the ideation and development of new formulas from concept to commercialization Ensure projects continuously meet development goals and launch dates Act as a bridge between Tatcha R&D and rest of the team Support clinical and consumer perception testing Evaluate formula submissions, and provide timely feedback to R&D and Contract Manufacturers Create product profiles that tell the story of the new product including highlighting unique positioning (in the portfolio and competitive landscape), key claims and key technology that can be incorporated into marketing, education and PR materials Collaborate with Marketing on consumer insights and product trends to inform new developments Foster relationships with vendors, suppliers, and sales representatives in the United States and abroad Who You Are

Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or similar field required 5+ years of beauty industry experience in product development or 3 years plus MS or MBA Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication and presentation skills, including full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Have developed products across skin care, body care, and color cosmetics Launched products in global markets The Details:
The expected base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $135,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
