The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the investment strategy for the US Agency RMBS and CMBS sectors, with a focus on key risks such as duration, convexity, spread, and liquidity. This role requires a deep understanding of macroeconomics, and market data, and the ability to translate insights into investment decisions. The Head of MBS Portfolio Management will also be tasked with trading MBS securities, communicating strategy to the broader team, and ensuring that investment decisions are in line with the sector's strategy.

Candidates for this position should have a BSc in a quantitative discipline, economics, or finance, with an MBA or Master's degree in a related field preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the US mortgage-backed security market is essential, as well as a proven track record as an investor. The ideal candidate will have experience with MBS securities such as pass-thrus, specified pools, and CMOs, as well as with mortgage-specific analytics packages. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required, as the role involves working closely with global teams and across various organizational functions. Experience with interest rate and prepayment modeling, as well as knowledge of programming languages for financial analysis, is also beneficial.
