This pivotal role is focused on the design and oversight of operational functions, the management and enhancement of systems and processes, and ensuring controlled, scalable, and cost-effective operations to support the Corporate Mortgage Finance Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of operations professionals, managing internal and external resources, and collaborating with key stakeholders to support the growth of the business. This includes representing the business in the development of a comprehensive roadmap for infrastructure and leading special projects such as the integration of acquisitions and the evaluation of new business opportunities.

Applicants must have a proven track record in mortgage finance operations, with a strong emphasis on building out a new line of business. The role requires deep industry knowledge, excellent oversight and communication skills, and the ability to manage operational improvement and strategic projects. The Head of Operational Strategy will also be expected to interact with senior management and key stakeholders, lead a centralized team to develop informative reports and ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years of mortgage-related lending operations experience, and a demonstrated ability to lead multi-level operational teams. Preferred qualifications include 15+ years of experience in mortgage finance operations and a strong background in negotiation, collaboration, and team building.
