The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a focused strategy across a diverse portfolio of network and school partnerships, with the ultimate goal of ensuring world-class, culturally responsive learning for students. This senior-level position involves overseeing large, complex partnerships, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and actively monitoring progress to achieve excellent student outcomes. The role also includes team mentoring, performance management, and talent development, as well as partnership and business development, fiscal and resource management. The ideal candidate is an accomplished leader with a minimum of 8-10 years of senior management experience in the K-12 education space, a track record of leading teams to achieve strong academic outcomes, and superior written and verbal communication skills.

The Managing Director will be a strategic, solutions-oriented leader with a proven ability to lead teams and manage resources effectively. They should be a relationship builder, a people leader, and an independent problem-solver with a high bar of excellence. The role requires a candidate who is a self-starter, takes initiative, and is committed to the mission of the organization. Key qualifications include experience in mentoring and leading others, exceptional consultative skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The candidate should also demonstrate outstanding strategic thinking skills and the ability to make a meaningful impact on student achievement. A background in K-12 education, including district, charter, or non-profit, is essential, and a Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
