MARKETING & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE (CX) ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
The Marketing and Customer Experience (CX) Director is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance the university's brand, attract prospective students, and improve the overall experience. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing principles, as well as experience in managing customer journeys and optimizing touchpoints to deliver an exceptional experience for all stakeholders, including students, parents, alumni, and staff.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in marketing, customer experience, or a related role, preferably in higher education or education sector.
Strong understanding of marketing channels and tools.
Experience in customer experience management and journey mapping.
Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholdersProficiency in marketing software and CRM systems.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, evaluate and refine a marketing strategy designed to help the university advance and achieve key institutional goals.
Use innovative marketing strategies to build relationships, enhance institutional reputation, strengthen the university's brand, and achieve its strategic priorities.
Develop and assess measurable goals and objectives that advance the mission and vision of the university.
Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to promote university programs, events, trade shows, promotions, and overall admissions/recruitment initiatives.
Work with strategic partners, agencies and vendors that support the marketing strategies for the university.
Analyze customer feedback and data to identify pain points and opportunities for improving the student experience.
Design and optimize customer journeys, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from initial contact through to alumni relations.
Coordinate with the admissions team to align marketing strategies with recruitment goals.
Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and CX initiatives, using data to inform future strategies.
Conduct market research to understand the needs and preferences of target audiences.
Support the IT team with the CRM system optimizations and align with marketing and admissions needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, alumni, faculty, and community partners.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing and customer experience.
