Position Overview:
Position Title: Material Handler
Division: Plastics Division Columbus, OH
Job Summary: Responsible for safely handling, storing, and transporting of structural steel material in and around the fabrication facilities. The role involves unloading and loading structural materials using overhead cranes and forklifts.

Pulling parts and other materials needed for production. Transporting structural steel materials including beams, columns, plates, and other materials using equipment that includes forklifts, hoist, and overhead cranes. Assist in the maintaining of accurate inventory counts by tracking both incoming and outgoing materials. Helps in maintaining an organized material storage area. Assist with the loading and unloading of truck trailers and other vehicles with structural material. Is part of the quality control team by helping to inspect both incoming and outcoming materials for damage and defects including any discrepancies. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions. Prior experience in material handling in a structural steel environment. Knowledge of safety procedures related to material handling. Experience operating with overhead cranes. Pay Range:
USD $18.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
