DescriptionJob Title: Medical Assistant (BILINGUAL)Department: AMG - Clinic OpsAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers at our gastroenterology clinic. This role will report to our Site Administrator and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry.What You'll Do:Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical recordsClinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipmentEscort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chartInterviews patients to obtain their medical historyRecords patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical filesMust be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsBe able to prioritize workload while remaining flexibleMay be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlinesQualifications:One (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in CaliforniaHigh school diploma or GEDMUST BE fluent in Spanish or Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)You're great for the role if:One (1) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in CaliforniaHigh school diploma or GEDWho We Are:Astrana Health (NASDAQ: ASTH) is a physician-centric, technology-powered healthcare management company. The clinic is located at 328 S. First St. #F Alhambra, CA 91801.The total compensation target pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
