Job DetailsJob LocationTransformation Academy - Baltimore, MDPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$47,840.00 - $69,693.00 SalaryDescriptionAre you interested in working with an organization that is transforming the way America cares for and educates its children?The Childrens Guild is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech and language services to children who demonstrate a functional inability to perform in an educational environment under the direction of the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for all services. The SLPA will provide push-in and pull-out services based on the needs of the student and the services prescribed in the individualized education plan. The SLPA will develop, implement, and track progress on each students IEP on their caseload. The SLPA may also have to assist in completing speech assessments or work with another SLP to conduct assessments.SummaryTo provide diagnostic and therapeutic services relative to communicative skills to children enrolled in the Guild school program as determined appropriate by the Speech-Language Pathologist and the IEP Team; to collaborate with teaching teams, primary caregivers, and other professionals to meet the child's communicative needs; and to foster understanding about communication in general.To fulfill the IEP requirements of the assigned students in the terms set forth by the IEP and in compliance with all applicable COMAR regulations.Our DEI CommitmentDiversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion are fundamental values at The Childrens Guild.
