Job Summary

Serves as a liaison between patients/families and the CBI system of care, with a focus on assisting in complaints. Ensures that patient and family concerns are heard, reviewed by the appropriate staff, and resolved, communicating with the patient and family throughout the process. The Patient Advocate works with many different areas of the organization, including the investigation team, quality improvement, on-site clinical and professional staff, and leadership, and spends time at CBI crisis stabilization and inpatient facilities throughout the work week. This position reports to the Associate Director of Standards and Compliance.

Each employee will be held accountable and responsible for fulfilling each of these duties as well as having the capability to carry them out.

Education and Experience Required High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred. Three (3) or more years of experience providing direct patient care or advocacy required. Experience specific to crisis stabilization highly preferred. Bilingual candidates highly preferred. CBI Offers an excellent benefits package!
