Position Description: The Practice Manager is a critical management position which is responsible for the management and day to day operations of the AICA medical practice. The Practice Manager is expected to lead in all aspects of the medical practice including personnel management, facility physical plant management and operational efficiency. Position Duties: The position requires the following primary duties to be successful: Creates and maintains an atmosphere of professionalism Implements and Monitors All AICA Policies and Procedures Ensures training and supervision of all Medical Assistants both front and back. Liaison to Medial Doctors, Physician Assistants, MRI Technologist and other medical providers to ensure the medical schedule is maximized Corresponds with Medical Management Companys support departments as necessary Liaison to Attorneys and Case Managers to properly manage patient care Liaison to outside Referrals sources to ensure proper procedures Monitors and ensures all medical supplies and medications are on hand Provides excellent customer service throughout medical clinic Ensures proper staffing levels are met each day Manges workflow within the Ortho Medical practice Monitors proper documentation for rendered service Position Expectations: To perform the position successfully, an individual is expected to: Be an AICA ambassador always Manage the medical practice to ensure we are meeting and exceeding company goals Manage staff hours for productivity Manage patient compliance to ensure meeting company expectations Utilize MS Office and Excel as effective management and communication tools Master all front office and back office duties Monitors and ensure safe Osha practices are being followed Demonstrate excellent communication skills Develop employees into future leaders Be an AICA ambassador daily Be organized and efficient Be passionate and professional Be success driven Lead by example Have a positive attitude Lead by example Position Metrics: The execution of the position is quantifiably measured by the following: Regional and or Site Specific Patient Compliance (MRI, Ortho Medical) Regional and or Site Specific Total Patient Visits (MRI, Ortho Medical) Regional and or Site Specific Gross Revenue (MRI, Ortho Medical) Regional and or Site Specific Patient Experience Metrics may be changed/updated at any time at the discretion of management Position Requirements: College degree or college experience with a focus in business management, Or Experience: 5 years of experience in medical office leadership and management including personal injury and third-party liability service lines, AND MS Office and Excel experience Be team oriented and able to work with various executives, manager, and team leaders Be able to make sound decision in a fast-paced environment Position Miscellaneous: Salaried: Exempt: extended work hours from time to time to meet deadlines & handle issues Setting goals, meeting deadlines, managing issues, and attending events upon request Ability to interact, engage and communicate effectively with management, staff, referral sources, physicians, and patients Physical Demands: frequent sitting; frequent manipulation of documents; frequent typing or use of keyboard; limited lifting floor to overhead of less than 10 pounds.
