Job Description:
The Program Coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for inquiries related to youth membership programs, supporting various strategies to enhance and expand the programs. This position is key in ensuring smooth operations across several administrative functions, including grant and award processing, database management, and communication with internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide customer service via phone and email for youth membership and volunteer programs.Assist with implementing strategies to improve department programs.Oversee the processing of grants, awards, and program-related requests.Manage internal systems (Salesforce, Aptify, BI LaunchPad) to input data and generate reports.Coordinate with mail services to track shipments and troubleshoot issues.Handle program maintenance requests such as sponsorship transfers, name changes, and other administrative tasks.Support volunteer leadership appointment processes by preparing necessary documentation. Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles.Non-profit experience or background working in multicultural or youth programs is highly preferred.Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, mail merges).High school diploma required.Strong multitasking skills, ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work independently. This is a contract role with an open-ended duration.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.Team size: You'll join a small team, primarily based in Oakbrook, IL.Hybrid work model: Initially onsite for a few weeks, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite, 3 days remote). Perks:
