Full Time Opportunity General Description The Procurement Enablement Analyst role is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of enabling vendors in the Ariba application. The position will work closely with external Vendors, Business Unit users, and Accounts Payables to enable vendors on the Ariba Network and resolve issues related to transacting with vendors in Ariba. The Role is also responsible for maintaining catalogs by coordinating with the vendor, category management teams, internal IT, legal and business users; and managing contract pricing terms through Ariba Contract Compliance, monitoring off-contract spend, maintaining vendor price compliance and communicating contract and catalog offerings to end users. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide program management for Popular vendor enablement strategy (including a communication strategy for the vendors) through ongoing analysis of vendor activity Proactively collaborate with Business units, Sourcing managers, and Accounts Payable to collect and cleanse vendor information for enablement Execute vendor connectivity process and vendor network access testing, ensuring ability of vendors to transact across the network with purchasing documents Communicates the benefits of joining the Ariba Network to vendors and escalates to senior management when needed Facilitate and train individuals at each vendor to ensure accurate information is provided and transmitted Deliver metrics based on defined frequency of reporting distribution Provide superior customer service for vendors to answer inquiries and resolve system connectivity issues Coordinate with Category Management to execute the catalog creation and user provisioning process and acquires key inputs needed (such as vendor, category, pricing and SKU information) Assists Category Management to foster user adoption by providing any key technical inputs needed for training purposes and regular updates on catalog usage Creates and update catalog content based on new sourcing activity, legal initiatives and / or vendor changes or from negotiated contracts Enter and maintain all contract pricing terms into Ariba Contract Compliance, including setting up of contract thresholds and entering advanced pricing such as volume discounts Determines most appropriate methods for entering contracts into Ariba based on negotiated pricing Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing to define recommended pricing terms structure in contracts to increase efficiency and effectiveness in pricing compliance tracking Support updates of pricing terms in Contract Compliance as a result of contract amendments, renewals or other updates Monitor off-contract spending and vendor price compliance, where appropriate Provides reports as requested including volume compliance reporting During the contract renegotiation phase, provide input to category mgmt. / strategic sourcing regarding off-contract spending Execute strategies developed by management to increase compliance among end users, like educating users about Populars contracts and catalogs to minimize off-contract spend Education Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university is required. Degree concentration in finance, accounting, business administration, industrial engineering or related field is preferred. Experience Experience interacting with vendors and/or managing 3rd party contracts, both strong pluses. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) and be able to speak and write both languages fluently. At least 5 years of professional experience.
